Dusan Vlahovic - FC Juventus, Italy

  • Born 2000

Dusan Vlahovic is one of the leading young football players in the world and currently highest paid player of FC Juventus.

In season 20/21 he received an award «Young Player of the Year» of Italian Serie A.

Dusan started his football career in FK Zemun, where our current coach and coordinator of academy Uros Domazet was his first coach who gave the fundamental preparation of Dusan’s game.

Being in Serbia Dusan Vlahovic still works out individually with our specialist to practice his individual skills.

Marko Grujic - FC Porto, Portugal

  • Born 1996

Marko Grujic, midfielder of FC Porto and National team of Serbia, champion of the world as a part of junior National team of Serbia in 2015.

Started his career in our academy FC Winner (previous name of FK 011) before his transfer to Serbian powerhouse FK Red Star.

After FC Red Star Marko Grujic spent 4 seasons as a part of FC Liverpool, with a loan to «Cardiff City» and German «Hertha BSC». Since 2020 he is a part of FC Porto.

Vukasin Jovanovic - FC Apollon Limassol, Cyprus

  • Born 1996

Vukasin Jovanovic is a defender of FC Apollon from Cyprus and National team of Serbia.

Started his career in our academy FC Winner (previous name of FK 011) before his transfer to Serbian powerhouse FK Red Star.

Djordje Nikolic - FC Ujpest, Hungary

  • Born 1997

Djordje Nikolic is a goalkeeper of Hungarian FC Ujpest.

Started his career in our academy FC Winner (previous name of FK 011) before his transfer to Serbian powerhouse FK Partizan.

Played in all generations of youth Serbian National teams and invited to senior National team.

From 2016 to 2022 played in Swiss championship as a part of FC Basel.

SFA football program

Football academy is a part of FK 011 structure, which is known in Serbia as one of the leading football academies in development of young players.

Organization was found in 2002 under the brand name FK Winner and in 2010 academy FK 011 was formed as a merge of FK Winner and FK Dusanovac.

Goal of the academy – is to prepare young and talented players for «big» clubs.Our players regularly advance to the rosters of Serbian clubs (Red Star, Partizan, OFK Beograd and others) and to European clubs as well.

Players compete in academy’s teams based on their age and skill versus Serbian sports schools, as well as with top Serbian football youth clubs.

SFA sports program last for 9 months during which the player, on average, play about 40 games versus Serbian sports schools / youth clubs, also participating in tournaments.

Professional work methodology at SFA creates an opportunity to maximize the potential of every player and to prepare the athlete to a professional football.

Features of the SFA football program

  • Balanced training process from 5 days a week, 1-2 practices a day;
  • Individual trainings by positions, as well as strength & conditioning preparation;
  • Teams compete in various age categories versus Serbian spots schools / youth clubs;
  • There is no limit for international players at the SBA academy;
  • Players may be involved in trainings with an older age;
  • The training process lasts from beginning of September to the end of May;
  • Each player must be insured and undergo a scheduled medical examination;
  • Agency supervision of the players with the purpose of helping to further sign a professional contract.

Education at SFA

Academy provides an opportunity to attend a private international in-person high school where we have athletes from Serbia and all around the world.

At the completion of the high school program every academy’s student will obtain a secondary education diploma approved internationally, which would allow to enroll to any university in the world.

Athletes study following disciplines: Serbian language, English language, algebra, world history, physics, biology, geography, chemistry, informatics, social studies, etc.

Classes are held in Serbian, academy provides a tutor of Serbian language.

Additionally SBA provides an option of studying in English language.

Students can combine their education program in a SBA provided high school with their studies in schools of their home country remotely.

Important

  • All players (under 18) must study in a school of SBA in order to obtain a residence permit in Serbia, which allows to stay legally in Serbia during the course of the season;
  • Language proficiency in English or Serbian is not required for acceptance to SBA, but pre-intermediate level of English is recommended.

Living conditions at SFA

Athletes live in a comfortable sports campus, 2 players per room.

Campus is located in a safe and ecologically clean part of Belgrade, Banovo Brdo, close to park and forest area of the town.

Dorm facilities are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable and safe stay of athletes from 12 to 20 years old. Athletes are divided by the age groups.

The SFA staff (supervisor) takes care of the children around the clock and, if necessary, answer all the requests of children that relate to education and everyday life. All club staff have first aid skills and instructions in case of emergencies.

Athletes have 3 meals per day in a canteen inside of the dorm.

All boarding athletes have the necessary work space to do their homework, and the rooms are equipped with wifi.

Yearly program – 10 Months (September – July)

  • September 1 – July 1;
  • 30+ games versus clubs / sports schools of Serbia;
  • Accommodation in a academy’s dormitory;
  • 5 days of practices (1-2 practices a day) + 1 game per week;
  • Trips to the games;
  • Registration of sports insurance;
  • High school program*;
  • Individual skills practices, strengths & conditioning practices;
  • Visa support;
  • Assistance in planning of a further football career in Europe or the USA;
  • Guardianship in Serbia;

Trial program of stay at the academy

The academy also offers trial residency programs throughout the year ranging from 1-2 weeks.

The trial program allows you to familiarize yourself with the academy before making a decision about long-term training.

The trial program includes participation in the training process, living in the dormitory and attending the school program.

At the end of the trial program each athlete receives an individual coach's report with his soccer characteristics.

Career Planning

Serbian Football Academy is an academy that prepares young players to professional teams in terms of sports aspect as well as preparing athletes culturally (learning foreign languages, culture, adaption to new rules & requirements).

Our academy works with clubs both in Serbia and in Europe.

Academy’s management does career planning for every our player in order to help signing to a professional or semi-professional club as a player becomes ready to proceed further in his career.
